Binance’s CZ Eyes BlackRock and Fidelity’s Bitcoin ETFs
Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao has made his prediction for the next Bitcoin (BTC) bull run.
In a Twitter presentation on July 5, CZ explained the historical changes in Bitcoin’s price over 4-year bull market cycles.
Despite acknowledging that he can't see the future, Zhao highlighted the upcoming Bitcoin halving in 2024 and said 2025 is the most likely year for the next bull market, saying "it's usually the year of the bull after Bitcoin halving."
Asked if he was concerned about BlackRock’s recent entry into the spot Bitcoin ETF space, CZ welcomed the idea, saying it would be “very good” for the cryptocurrency industry. Signing up with the firm on June 15 has raised concerns among many that the intentions of major players in TradFi directly contradict the ethos of Bitcoin as a decentralized currency network.
